Noticed recently that whenever i accellerate in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear there is a whistling noise, even with a janspeed fitted it's quite noticeable

maybe small air leak around the box lid or if ind kit fitted a clamp not tight enough.

I did fit a k&n panel filter recently but it was doing the whistle before that, it won't do any damage will it if left because at some point I will be fitting a k&n typhoon

Depends whats causing it. My sisters clio was whistling from the aux belt, a slight tighten and it was fine.

thanks for the info guy's, it's going into the garage soon to have new rear brake pads so might get them to have a look
