My car displays the fault code P2096 with an OBD2 reader. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it and what need fixing?
Thanks

Or leaking exhaust before lambda sensor allowing air (that contains O2) into the exhaust system. The sensor "sees" the extra O2 and assumes the car is running lean. Lambda sensors are "narrow band" and will only cope with small variations either side of the expected range.

Hmm well in that case i'm pretty sure it must be the sensor because I've got a relatively new exhaust that was welded at the joints. Do you know which sensor it might be?
