My 1.4 Verve diesel always starts first time, no problems there, but when I make a short journey (for example to the local shop) - stop outside the shop, switch off the engine, dash in for a pint of milk, come out and get back into the car, start her up...no acceleration! Sometimes I can wait a couple of minutes and the accelerator kicks in, sometimes I'll pop her into gear and idle away and the accelerator then kicks in (often pumping the clutch).

Hopefully your getting the idea. Has anyone any clues on what the problem might be.

No, EML light doesn't stay on.
The car has been run through a diagnostics, but has found no fault. Our local Peugeot dealer has no idea either what might be the issue.

Is the 1.4 HDi electronic throttle? Sounds like it could be part of that sticking somewhere.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

I believe it maybe (an electronic throttle), but cannot confirm this. Do you know how to check for this LeeThr?
