Could be anything from a bsi problem to a immobiliser problem. All you have done is reset something.

I know that shutting off the power has just reset the electrics but has anyone else had this problem, cannot seem to find any in the search so maybe mines a one off, any simple tips would be a great help, could it be the battery? i dont think so as seems to be turning over well, have changed the radio about 5 days ago but only had none start today also recent change to throttle body and all its sensors plus had problem with revs on its own but replaced water temp sensor a week ago this did stop the reving hope this helps when you rack your brains thanks again for your time all.

The BSI reboot procedure is explained in the beginners guide. This used to be sent out to all members on signing up but is easily searchable on the site.
It is possible that you didn't reconnect the battery properly after you changed the stereo, and the connection worked loose, causing a bad contact. By disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it may have fixed the fault.
As for the site being more help, your original post was at 8.23pm and you're moaning 2 hours 36 minutes later that there hasn't been enough help. There aren't Peugeot master techs sat on here 24/7 waiting for someone with a problem. Sometimes you may have to wait a couple of days for someone with the correct knowledge to sign on and read your thread.
Iain has probably given you the best answer based on the information you gave originally. It's difficult diagnosing non starting faults over the internet. It could be a number of things that caused the issue, but as you say, it's started every time since, so there isn't really a problem now that needs urgent attention.

mj1704: in slating MrBSI you have criticised probably the most knowledgeable contributor to this forum and in V9977 one of the most patient and frequent posters. It is people like you that make those like MrBSI and V9977 leave the forum and that is a loss to us all.
Your attitude really is typical of so many quick fix children that frequent this forum.
