p0011 variable solenoid valve upper stop any help on what this code is and how to fix

It will be the VVT solenoid. Take it out & give it a clean would be the first step.

Upbolt it. Flush it with carb cleaner and then blow it out an airline. Let to dry. fit back in.

cheers i will look and see , also the tailgate has a terrible squeak from it somewhere has anybody else had it and cured it ? lastly where is the fuel filter as i couldn't find it

Inside the fuel tank as its a self cleaning filter, the official Peugeot advice is leave it alone!
