Can someone please post a pic of what lights are on on the instrument cluster when starting the car (multiplex).
I am getting a single beep with no warning lights and am running out of ideas as to what it could be. I am wondering if I may have a blown bulb and a warning light should be showing with the beep....

If its beeping, it usually shows on the MFD. would either be brakes or airbags I'd imagine.

No mfd message and no warning lights. Oil and brake fluid fine. I must have a dodgy sensor or something but what I do not know.

2003 1.4 8v
This is when I first turn on the ignition

and this is a couple of seconds later just before turning the key to start the engine

The beep isn't something daft like service due or the door is open is it?

It probably isnt this but I used to get a single beep on start up when my ABS was shagged.

Ok this is interesting. Macca do you have ABS? When I turn the ignition on my abs light comes on then goes off with the other lights.
The beep happens only under braking just before I come to a stop. Only when the car is at running temp ( maybe when the brakes are hot?) I have new discs and pads on the front.
If this is an ABS issue what am I looking for? This is my first car with ABS.

No ABS on mine.
I take it planet isn't chucking anything up.
Have you cleaned the ABS rings and sensors? could be a bit of crap on one of the rings that is only picked up at low speed.
Not sure if any 206 comes with brake wear sensors. If yours has them, it is possible that they could be faulty at higher temps.
Also do you leave your foot firmly on the brake pedal until you come to a complete stop, or ease off the brake as you are coming to a stop?

does the car have a low brake fluid warning ???
if it does this could come on under brakeing as the level will drop as you press the pedel.
