Good Day All,
I am after some help please, i am a brand new member just registered today, i am happy to make a fair donation to this forum if this problem is fixed. Would appreciate your kind support.
206 year 1999 Petrol was working fine, Key fob Battery was virtually drained, as i didnt have a replacement battery, i used the key to open / close doors. After a month 'after which the battery of the fob had completely drained' i changed the battery, (yes i didnlt lose the chip inside it) Took me maybe 2 mins, and now the car doesnt start. Engine Turns over and over, but doesnt fire. I have tried re-synching the key, cant make no sense of it. The central locking doesnt work at after after atleast 8 attempts on re-synching it. and of course the car doesnt wanna start.
Apologies to add this side note into the stupidity of the problem, As i bought the car, There was a seperate Key for opening the Door, and a seperate Key to Open the doors, (each with their own 'seperate' Fob) tried -resyncing both keys, no joy. The history on why this is because the owner changed the Key lock in the ignition once upon a time.

I believe that the key you got don't have the original immbo. chip, which can forget the code of the car,so you need to reprogramme the key to car so it start again.

If you have pp2000 you can do it from there. If not see if someone local to you on here has it and is willing?
