Trying to replace my rear wiper arm as it has split around the nut resulting it just dropping down while trying to wipe.
Nut was stiff so tried some WD40 on it and tried a few days later and still wouldn't budge. Put some more WD40 on today and left it 30 minutes but still won't move.
Anyone else had any problems trying to remove it?
I hear if you try too hard you can end up cracking the rear screen which I don't want to do.

Get some penetrating oil instead of lubricating oil.

Never had trouble with WD40 in past on other stuff. Will find some penetrating oil.
