Hey guys,
So i bought a vtr engine for my 1.1 206 engine swap and i have hit a rather large barrier with the engine looms as my new ecu wont fit the 1.1 loom and the new 1.6 vtr loom wont fit the 1.1 fuse box i am in a right spot of trouble and have been swapping round sensors from the 1.1 onto the 1.6 block but i suspect doing so will either one make it not run at all or two run very lumpy and slow because of it thinking there is a 1.1 instead of a 1.6 if anyone could help me out that would be great or if anyone knows a loom that would fit that would solve it all i thought maybe the 1.6 glx loom could work but dont have anyone around me who has one so i cant check! thanks in advance for your help!

Its not a straight swap, you should, and will need to swap ECU and Immobiliser from the saxo.

By the bottom, not on the airbox. Look behind the front bumper down low on the passenger side.

when you swap engines,it's always recommended to have the donor car close to you,and swap engine, and engine loom,ECU,fuse box,and everything related to make this work, this way u will have a great finish, and a free problem car.

i have the car close by, the fuse box in the saxo is also incompatible with the loom on my car :/ as my fuse box has plugs for the battery lights and everything els where as the saxos box doesnt i think im going to have to get a loom of a 1.6 hid or glx 206 to get this to work :/
