Yo guys! I'm not sure if this is the right section of the forum, but a couple of days after my last post on here (ages ago) my beautiful betsy got written off (white van + not seeing me = rear ended Sad ) anyway, the boot has creased the tiniest bit, and me and a few mates were thinking of repairing it (only written off cat D cause too expensive for insurance to repair) and we were wondering if you can get a new (or used w/e) boot floor?! I'm up for cutting, welding, (not cutting half a car though! Just the boot floor!)

yada yada yada, is this possible?

There are lots or places u can get a second hand floor, ideally u want to go and cut it out of another car yourself as not many people will happily cut it out for you, -

yeah I'd be up for that, cause I've got an idea of how to do it a safe way which is cut a bigger boot than I need, then create small 'slot' cuts in and around the old boot then file down the sides of the new boot floor and slide it in, then weld, get it? (I'm not very good at explaining :3 )

Try a local panel place, the ones that sell wings and chassis pieces. They might have a patent part they can source for you.
I know of a couple in the Preston area that sell panels. They used to do floor pans, door skins and individual sections of bodywork, but no idea if they will do a boot floor.
