Hiya i have just brought a 1999 5 door Peugeot 206 1.4 and its only got the spare key, i went to Peugeot and they said they don't make the remote keys anymore but if i get a programmable one they will program it for me. My question is does anyone know where i can get a programmable remote central locking flip key that will work in my car?

Flip key is a modification not a standard thing! And to get a spare key off ebay! its only the board that you after, but be careful there are 3 different types of board!

Is it 2-button or 1-button?

I believe the 2-button is no-longer available as new from Peugeot.

That means you would need a second hand one from eBay but with a virgin (blank) immo chip fitted in it.
You will also need the 4-digit alphanumeric code (on card if you still have it) otherwise they can get it from the VIN at a small fee.
Then, have a go with Peugeot Planet diagnostic equipment to re-code the key and add to the BSI one by one.

However, there is no guarantee the remote function will work with the replacement even after all this.
There is also a chance you will get 'locked-out' by the ECU/BSI immo and none of the keys will start the car.

Non plexed remote keys are no longer available from Peugeot.

Just buy a new non remote key which are still available & have it coded to the car.

If you PM me with your VIN, I will check which key you have in Servicebox.
