Hey, everyone.
Bet this is a common question! The trim, on a peugeot 206. there's two types as far as I can see. Grey/Black Plastic and then the colour coordinated (metal?) version.
I want to make my peugeot 206 look "sporty" but also keep it looking smart (so no helicopter blades or plane wings, thanks)
My question is, where can I get the colour coordinated versions to match my car? or are they plastic too? in which case, should I just take mine off and spray them? I've got all the professional equipment and have even sprayed leather car seats in porsches, etc. So I wouldn't worry about a few bits of trim, lol.
I've attached a picture of my automobile below. It's a pleasure to meet you all and hear what you've got to say on the topic. This is my first post on the forum so thought I'd start of off with a stupid question, haha.
Just a quick note, I don't live in Australia, but, tinypic decided that it does! if you feel the requirement to see my car the correct way round, please feel free to rotate your heads/screens to do so.
EDIT 30/06/2013 2:33PM
I've re-visited tinypic and they no longer do their pictures in australia... Pleasure to now show you my car, the correct way round!!!

They are just color coded plastic, if you are confident enough to spray yours go for it.

there's a how-to post for this im sure..
Thats a description of the process in the HOW-TO Guide section forum..not difficult to do tho..
Your car looks clean enuf tho and will certainly benefit from colour coded bumper strips and get some alloys on it mate...black are out of favour on a silver car at the moment tho...even tho mine are black with the car the same colour as yours but mines a 2.0l138bhp.

As mentioned I don't believe there is any metal trim options. The later 206's just came with colourway coded plastic trims. Just DIY it or get someone to do it. Shouldn't be that difficult.

I'm planning on getting the 17% 180hp GTi wheels. I think they're called the Vortex? I nearly won a pair for 150£ a week ago but sadly got out bidded last second. Will continue hunting a pair down, though:) I know what you mean about black. I think for the first time ever, bog standard silver alloys will look the best. Keep the car looking smart and tidy but make it look a bit sporty at the same time:) Will probably get the car lowered to fit the alloys perfectly so I don't get a load of arch space.

Cheers, this is pretty much all I needed to know:) I thought maybe the later ones were metal or something. Was it an optional extra or something? My car's a '05 plate so it's 2 years from the latest 206. I've got all the optional extra's on my car including aircon! strange that they never went and got the matching trim too.
