After seeing a how to on fitting a glove box light - I had a look for the cable and cam across this..... It is under the glove box, attached to a piece of metal (slightly above a piece of metal that moves when I push the brake lever)
What is it? dont want to tug at it and see bits of my car go flying across the courtyard (hilarious as that would be tbf)

aaah!! that would make sense! Its been bugging me all morning - I was holding out some hope that there would be the empty plug for a glove box light (for that hint of luxury) but I dont think this model came with it? It is an "L" i suppose.
