as the title, when the revs go over about 1200 rpm the engine management light comes on, when the car returns to idle the light goes out. Any ideas as to what would be the cause ? My rev counter does not work (works very erratically) either, is this related or co-incidental ? new crank sensor already fitted.
car is a 1.9D, 2001.
