HI all

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the scorpion exhaust on the 206 gti 180?

Mine has started blowing on the mid section. I have had it looked at and discovered the location

I have spoke to scorpion with regards to the lifetime warranty and got this back

1)Purchase a replacement centre section, have this fitted and then return the original for A credit providing the claim is valid.
2) Send the faulty one back and after inspection we will either repair or replace the part.
3) Bring your car to the factory and our engineer will repair or replace the part whilst you wait.

Do you think this is reasonable. I thought the second option sounded viable until he said I had to pay for carraige!!

All advice welcome. Thanks

I have the same exhaust and had a a hole at the centre section, I had it welded for a tenner saved any hassle with trying to sort it through scorpion seems a common fault too.

Thanks guys. Must be a bad design. I'm half tempted to remove the mid box and have a straight through pipe fitted!?

I have just noticed this on my car! The pipe that exits the centre section has split along the manufactured weld. Probably caused by lots of violent sideways action at high revs.
