Does the immobiliser shut off the fuel pump on a multiplexed?

Immobiliser is a software lock on the engine ecu.
Should be no fuel & no spark.

Could also be a crank sensor fault.

Logically if you have power and earth to the pump and it's a new pump then the pump should work of course. The fact the original pump stopped working, worked for while with a new pump, then stopped working again sounds like a bad/ inconsistent earth at the pump

You say when you were testing that "i have put a voltage tester to the wires and 3 of 5 are live, 2 are earths" but have you actually checked the integrity of the earth from the pump?
Connect a test light or multimeter from a known good earth to the pump earth, and when the pump is supposed to be on, if you get 12v on the earth line then you know you have problems with the earth there

Have you checked the multi-power-relay below the ECU? (feeds injectors, fuel pump, λ-sensor heaters)

It's very very common for relays in general to develop interminent fault like this which can be confusing.
For example it might give-out enough current to light a bulb or register on the multimeter but put the actual load on it and nothing. Same story as on the fan relays.

Worth a try..
