No, but I've tried the split boot version that you glue and they a f*****g waste of time and money.
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Ive had a similar stretch type pinned for the next time i need one doing...it only saves you the cv joint split but if done properly im sure its a worth while bit of kit...u can see these being used on youtube under easy cv boot repair or similar...
I will defo be using one next time but if u do use this leave a report on what u think dude...im sure it will save time and hassle but make sure the boot is the stretchy type as im not sure if all boots will work with this?

here we go this is how i did the front d/s cv boot with a stretch gaiter and cone
tools used 35mm impact socket /hub nut
17 mm socket +17 mm combo spanner / pinchbolt trackrod end
long lever bar plus wedge ( didnt have space to strap long bar to the wishbone )
soft mallet wd40 and a swear jar
firstly take your spare space saver out the cage
!! you ask why !!
swap for the road wheel you intend to change the boot on
now you can plant the car down and slacken the hubnut so its easy to remove
now jack the car up remove road wheel place on axle stands make sure its solid on theses
wd40 the hub spline and the bottom wishbone bolt / nut
turn the steering so you get better acess to the hub/area
get a a coffee and relax
now gear up with gloves and the sockets/spanners you need
undo the bottom w/b nut loosen the bolt ( dont remove yet)

lift droplink with a jack so the hub pinchbolt is vertical
now lever the wishbone out from the hub with a longbar
you can push screwdriver/chisel into the split in the pinchbolt clamp if its stiff
once the wishbone is free wedge a socket / tool into the gap between the subframe and the inner wishbone to hold it in place
now you can start to remove the driveshaft form the hub

use a soft mallet to loosen the shaft from the hub it should come off easy if not use bearing extractor/homemade tool to push the spline off the hub
once the shaft is out of the hub undo the trackrod end and swing the hub away

cut the old boot and clean the grease from the joint note cut the metal clamps and boot with metal shears or
clean up new gloves and prepare the new boot turn inside out

not lube the cone (minimal lube) slide the boot over the cone and work it round up/down
now flip it half back on itself and put a small amount of lube up by the small end and flip it back

now wrap a piece of cloth over the end of the cv joint and place the cone tight onto the cv joint
and slide /push the boot onto the driveshaft !! it takes one swift sharp push try to keep the shaft straight

now turn the boot back the right way clean the lube off
now cut the excess off with a sharp knife
clamp the small end onto the shaft and fill with the grease
now place the outer clamp on and check the fit
now its just a case of refit all back
and tighten up
things to note smear the d/s spline with copper ease
make sure the bottom w/b ball joint is not seazed and upright to ease fitment make sur the boot is not damaged
(i have repair dust boot if you got a balljoint boot damage)
check the cv joint itself for play
new bottom ball joint pinch nut /trackrod end nut will be needed
