I think it looks quite good, definitely different. Just expect everyone to copy you now
I'd be sticking a GTi engine in it now though, so it's got some poke to match the looks.

Thanks guys.
I've thought about dropping a larger block in but I no longer see much point, the car doesnt get used tbf, it's been sat on the drive for over 4 months without moving, I've got the BMW for the power, I only keep the 206 now for something to play with and come up with new ideas lol
I designed it on paper, scanned it into the PC and vectored it, then cut it with the vinyl cutter and applied it, main reason is sharpie fades quite quickly in daylight and doesnt like lacquers much either, so it's a vinyl wrap over a white sprayed boot

That's a change, surprised to see this has been suggested!
Most people would be like "why didn't you just get a gti in the first place" and get so much stick for not buying a bigger car in the first place, like you see on here. Every time someone mentions a conversion people always think they are stupid and would be better buying a bigger one, but as evidenced sometimes due to the time and effort already put in, an engine conversion is necessary, not a new car.
So the next time someone mentions about dropping a 2 litre in a 1.1 I don't want to hear "why don't you just buy a 2 litre". For some people, it's just the way things have worked out.

It's because most of the time, people buy sheds or cars with engine problems and reckon it's a cheap upgrade.
Ste's had this car for years and put a fair amount of work in. Only seems like the next step forward.
