i know the usual rant is "pug or oem only" but has anyone had experience of or with non-original lambdas,cashflow is a bit tight and seen FAE on euro, there are a few used oem ones knocking about fleabay but im a bit skeptical about this sort of part second hand

Do thy have plugs that fit the Peugeot loom? If not a 4 way Superseal will do the job.

Mine came with the right plug attached. I think it's the generic ones that don't, and they are the ones that seem to have a short service life.

all the universal ones don't have a plug,so it's not a Plug & Play,you need to use your old plug,and match colors as the instructions say,but mostly need to match colors,as simple as that.

Heard the universal ones are terrible, I would rather just get a second hand oem one to be honest

well seen as its the 97th solution to my fuelling/p0170 problem (yes it came back after 3 days) i just found a used oem one for 15squid and gonna see what happens,then if i get same fault least im not down a tonne. the non-oem i was looking at come with the plug ready to go,wasnt a universal thing,just a cheap brand
