Hi,

I have a 2003 1.1LX. The radio head unit (OEM) works perfectly as far as I can tell in the car and I've never had a problem.
A couple of days ago, I started the car as usual and the radio turned on normally, but there was no sound. I searched the forum and found that taking the key out of the ignition and restarting the car would fix it. I tried that and it didn't work the first time, but it did the second time.
Today, again, the same thing happened. The dash display is working perfectly and radio stations and CD Tracks are showing as normal, but there is just no sound. I do have it working again, but it seems to be a temporary on off glitch.
I took the radio out and had a look. I didnt really know what I was looking for, but the wires that were attached were in firmly. There was one wire completely un-attached (white with a black 3-pin connector) but it was already like that I think!
Anybody any ideas on how to fix this? Any help greatly appreciated Smile
Cheers, J.
