Where exactly do i T-piece into the vacuum pipes to fit a boost controller and a boost gauge?

to the back of the engine there is an actuator going to a soleniod, the pipe that joins them, would that be an appropriate place ?

Manual boost controllers are the devils work. And I strongly recommend avoiding the temptation.

For the boost pickup for a gauge. Use some where close too or off the inlet manifold, or worst case just off the boost pipes after intercooling

So how do you control the boost if you don't use a manual boost controller ?
