Hello everyone have a peugeot 206 1.1 2002 which has just failed it's MOT on quite a number of things two of them being airbag warning light and indicator stalk doing the usual going from light to left when straightening the steering wheel...
My question is on ECP it lists a number of different models for that car obviously some having extra features like auto wipers this is just a basic one with no extra features, the one that is for a model with on-board computer is cheaper than the one that doesn't have it, will it be ok to fit this version?
Many thanks for any help on this

Yeah should be fine. I think I'm right in saying only the 180 version won't work. Or maybe it's bog standard that won't work on 180.
Either way a on my old 1.1 I put a gti comm on to get fogs and trip computer

You can fit an ESP com unit to a non ESP 206 if you want to waste money
You can't fit a non ESP com if the car actually has ESP fitted, it will throw errors.

Is the Comm's unit causing the airbag light?
Just sent my Comm's unit away to a guy on ebay who sorted the wobblie stalk thing out for £25 (Plus postage to him)

Unfortunately not been able to get a code reader on the car it's not my car and the person that owns it (my ex) decided to put it in for it's MOT the day before it was due to expire
So now it's stuck off the road.....and she needs the car back so ordering a new part will also be a lot quicker, it'll just be a bonus if it sorts the airbag problem too.

Well I found the one with onboard computer control for £117 which is part number 6239 Q4 where as the one without onboard computer control is £148 and part number 6239 Q3 which is the correct one for this car, so there shouldn't be any issues right? Same part number just different spec by the look of it.

Ended up getting the new unit from carparts4less with the onboard computer for £117 and it all works nicely and found the airbag light also went out.... Job well done!
Now for the rest of the fails.... lol
