As above realy.
2000 is a 1.4 8v

Both are 3plug ecu
Grey plug on coil pack.

Basically ive got an intermitant misfire (p0200)
Changed coilpack. Fitted bosch plugs. Ecu temp sensor and still there.
Going to test Injectors tomorrow and was going to change the loom over
While im there as the earth onto coilpack looks a bit rough.

Ive got the 2002 which im breaking so can rob loom off that

Any over help on what you guys think it could be would be great.

Checking and comparing plug colours may even highlight which injector is giving the problem.

Gunsons colour tune even gives you a window into the combustion chamber!

Will the injectors from the 2002 fit the 2000?

I've still got one in the cupboard somewhere, great bit of kit when I use to fiddle with carbs all those years ago.

Possibly IF there the same spec, I think there are at least 2 or 3 different types on the smaller TU lumps.

I still fiddle with carbs fitted to my 1984 Alfetta GTV 2.0l track car and my 1994 1200 Triumph Trophy. Very little is as rewarding as getting a set of Twin 40s balanced and a perfect idle and pickup.

Another trick I have learnt is to use one of those IR temperature sensors. If you point it at each branch of an exhaust any significant temperature difference will highlight a problem with the appropriate cylinder. Another simple diagnosis tool.

I have a Draper one in my toolbox, also got temp function on my Fluke meter with a probe, both come in handy diagnosing brake coil issues on forklifts.

The brake coil is meant to have a set resistance at a set temperature.
