Hi Got a problem with my 206 1.9d 2002 plexed horn not working. took horn of and tested with a battery and two wires works ok, next tested wires 250 and mc11k from connector get 12v when horn pressed on steering wheel and can also hear relay clicking from bm34 fusebox. any ideas greatly appreciated cheers Andy

Double check the connector plug, you may have 12 volts there BUT there may not be enough current passing through to sound the horn.

I had this same issue. The wires to the horn and connector were faulty and corroded. I cut the wires back and soldered new wires and terminals. Works fine now.

Thankyou for the quick response will use connector cleaner hopefully this will work strange one on me but hey anything possible. thought I was going mad... if not will change connector. Cheers

Hi, Just an update was the connector plug that was faulty on earth side, amazing changed connector and hey ho worked. typical french workmanship considering i work in france ... thankyou

just for information Peugeot here in france wanted 40.00 euros yes 40.00 euros just for the connector kit. got a replacement from breakers yard.

The connectors are about £3 new on Ebay.
