I'm having trouble finding the correct bush / mount for my car,
the one I'm looking for looks like this:
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peu...53fc1e6a33
I've read posts people have just replaced the bush / mount, well I can't find any, unit part, john Morgan, online all tell me they don't sell them and I can only buy it from Peugeot, I went to Peugeot and they want me to buy the complete unit for £63 ex vat. Peugeot part NO was 1807z0.
does anyone know where I can find the correct bush / engine mount please, I'll just press it out. my car is 2003 1.6 16v xsi.
I've seen this one: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEU...232e89b225

You can use a Powerflex pff50-420. google it, you don't need to remove the mount, just cut the old bush out and insert.
The 420 is a 65mm bush so check it first. The gti uses a 70mm, different part. No idea what the diesel size is.
Hope that helps

Cut the old bush out? Then I don't have a bush, there is no rubber, its all gone. Will this explain why my car shudders every time I change gear? Remove my foot off the accelerator?
Anyway many thanks, ordered 65mm bush, the seller says it won't fit, hope he's wrong.
BTW I thought a press was needed to remove and insert this?

I did say check it first! The powerflex website has an application guide you can check with. You're measuring the diameter of the bush including the outer metal sleeve.
As for your fault then yes it could be any or all of the engine mounts, they're all cheap. The one below the battery often wears and is quick to change. Once one mount goes the others follow as they are doing more work.
To fit the powerflex you unbolt the bracket that is in the way, then cut out the rubber bush, cut and remote the metal sleeve that is left. The powerflex is in 2 halves and pushes together. No press needed.

Don't worry powerflex states its 65mm, do I have to remove the battery housing to see the mount under it?
Cheers

Not necessarily, could be clutch related. Don't often hear of the mounts going tbh.
