Hi everyone.

Having problems with my PPT30 conversion. I've bought the unit and have wired in the relevant wires (live, earth and two blue wires) from the standard basic clock unit.

The PPT30 works perfectly, no missing pixels etc, which is a bonus but there is no illumination from the four bulbs to power the backlight so I can see it!

There are three grey wires, about five or six blue wires and a yellow wire left to be connected. I'm sure two wires will be for the outside temperature display but the rest I'm stumped on. There seems to be no other info than the guide written on here - but it doesn't cover the other wiring on the multiplug. Hope that makes sense?

My car is a 2001 pre-plex and the PPT30 was out of a 2001 GTi pre-plex.

Thanks!
