Hi All,
I would like to find out why my airbag light is on, unfortunately I have a 2003 1.4 Hdi so the OBD readers are not compatible (apparently).
If anyone somewhere near Plymouth would let me plug my pug into theirs to get the code I would appreciate it.
Or can someone recommend somewhere local that does not charge the earth for this?
Many thanks guys!

make sure you disconnect the battery before playing with airbag connectors. the same connectors send the signal to make them go "bang!"
It is rare but does happen and that is not only expensive to fix but a very scary place to be and you are at real risk of quite serious injury if you are close to one when it explodes.

Hi thanks for the tip, and yes you are right, I have the correct BSI shut down and re-start procedure written down in the glovebox as this forum has made me very aware of not having an explosion in my face.
Cheers Ed
