So the other week I noticed I was loosing coolant, after a check and judging by the staining I 'thought' it was coming from the bottom radiator hose where it joins up by the thermostat
So new hose, anti freeze and clips bought I changed the hose, easy job
Anyways fast forward to this week and I noticed I'm still loosing coolant Mad
Have another check and it's the same place I thought was leaking from before *Censored*
So this time decided it was a heater hose the one which joins on the bottom of the thermostat housing and then goes to the bottom joint on the heater matrix on the bulkhead
So another hose, clips and more anti freeze bought I went to change it
BUT I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it
Heater matrix join is no problem
BUT where it joins the thermostat is a different matter, the clip is hidden behind a bracket which holds a hard plastic pipe in place,so I took the bolt out and it's not possible to move the pipe enough to get behind and remove the clip, this is the bit that's stumped me as I cant see how to move the plastic pipe so I can get behind it,Haynes manual is no use either,so if anyone know I'm all ears
Thanks

Yes I own a CC and I'm neither gay or a hairdresser!!

Ok it's a 1.6 16v
The black plastic pipe goes round the back of the engine, not sure where to though!!
I don't want to force it too much in case it breaks
