hi all. i have scanned and searched for the answer to my question here but cant really find what im looking for! i got into the car this morning and my mialge trip computer was not showing anything, anyway how do i fix this ive not tinkered or fiddled with anything it just stopped. ,y car is a 51 plate gti. if someone does have the answer could i get a step by step how to?

Probably just failed. Wiggle the connection to see if that cures it. If not get another one off ebay

The bulb behind the display will need replacing. Shine a torch on the front of it and see if you can barely see the numbers actually working.
This is the first bulb to always fail on the dash (pigmy type) because it's lit up all the time as soon as you start the car, weather headlights are on or off..

ok. th e display is very faint when the headlights are on so nothing is as such broken! i can just get a replacement bulb i take it?!
