hi im new! basically my daughters 1.1s cam belt broke, we are rebuilding the engine and looking for the pistons if anyone knows where i can get some, or has a bottom end for sale please can they let me know.

You could try www.kingcomponents.co....ugeot.html (googled them) or someone like Ferrari Piston Services (know called FPS) or a local motor factor .. not Halfords, a proper one!

Are the pistons badly damaged?

You might also need to double check the big-end shells. As the con-rods are coming off to replace the pistons you;ll be able to check these. These are soft and on some other cars tend to get a flat-spotted due to the impact and this can them lead to big-end failure later.

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

thanks for the reply ill have a look at the big end shells as well.. the pistons have hairline cracks so being prudent really...
