Morning,

I've been having a problem with my 206 (2005 reg, petrol) recently

There is a flat spot in the engine response at around 2000rpm. The car can be hesitant and juddery when at 2000rpm. Above and below this the engine seems to run fine.

I have had an engine light come on along with "Antipollution Fault". After checking this with my code reader it turns out to be a P0170 "Fuel Trim Bank 1" fault. The freeze frame data shows that the engine was running rich at the time.

I don't really know what else to do and would appreciate any advice people have to offer.

The car was serviced only a few months ago at a peugeot dealership, so there are new spark plugs etc.

It's not the most annoying problem as I can change my driving style to accommodate the issue however you sometimes want that extra pull.

Are you suggesting that the spark plugs are the cause of the problem?
