Hi I'm new to this and a woman so I don't know a lot about cars, atal lol. My dad adjusted my tappets yesterday as they were extremely noisy.I don't Know if it'd coincidence or a problem new occurred, but car seems to be vibrating quiet a lot in idle. Never noticed this before. It goes away when driving or if u rev the car but soon as u stop its there again. I do know the exhaust is blowing a little, don't know if has any connection. Please bear wit. Me if I'. Rambling lol . Don't have a clue about cars neither does my partner but if some advice to help would be muchly appreciated. My car is a Peugeot 206 1.4 lx yr 2000

First I would let you dad know what is happening and get him to recheck any cables or hoses that he might have disturbed.
If nothing improves then he needs to re-check the tappets. If he wasn't meticulous in the order that he has done them then one could be tight holding a valve open. That will give the exact symptoms you describe. Haynes manual says to do them in this order.
No1 exhaust full open adjust No3 inlet and No4 exhaust.
No3 exhaust fully open adjust No4 inlet and No2 exhaust.
No4 exhaust fully open adjust No2 inlet and No1 exhaust.
No2 exhaust fully open adjust No1 inlet and No3 exhaust.
Noting that No1 cylinder is at the gearbox end of the engine.
Clearances cold should be:-
Inlet 0.20mm
Exhaust 0.40mm

It's all relative when it comes to 'just-right' on this measurement though..
'Engine has to be stone-cold etc but he's done them.
Even if the car seems to be now lacking power/is noisy, leave them settle and bed-in for at least 800 miles, of good long-distance journeys.
Then see.

If the car is vibrating on idle it is misfiring. I wouldn't deliberately drive it 800 miles to see what happens as you can have a burnt out valve in that mileage. The work needs to be double checked and also checked for disturbed electrical connectors or air pipes. it might also be worth getting codes read.
Two other ways to see where the problem might be are:-
1) Remove the plugs and see if one is a different colour. The one with the unusual colour (dark brown or black) is the cylnder where the problem probably is.
2) Use an infrared thermometer and measure the exhaust manifold temp at each cylinder. The coolest is again at the cylinder where the problem is likely to be.

Another thought. If he removed the spark plugs there is a chance that the gap has closed or the insulation now damaged on a plug.
