Hi guys,

My girlfriens 03 1.4HDI has developed a fault. The fuel line under the airbox has a hole in it.
I have temporarily close the hole and their is now no air in the fuel system and the engine is running very smooth and good power delivery BUT under acceleration, braking and when i engage the cluth the "stop" light on the dash and the handbrake light flash and the car beeps at me.

Ive been looking around online and cant seem to find the pipe i need to replace. Other than the pipe does anyone know what could be causing the warning lights on the dash (did this when last changed oil filter as the locating nipple broke off and was floating round inside the filter housing, i fitted a new filter and not done it since)

Thanks,

G

The fuel pipes you need to get from peugeot depending on your engine code will be £80 upwards I seem to remember.

what's your brake fluid level like? not dipping under the level sensor when braking?

well the handbrake light+ stop light flashing means the brake fluid is low, which means you have to check:
1-your front brake and discs
2-your rear brakes and discs,or drums as i don't know what model you got.
3-check the braking system for leaks.

Don't replace the fuel pipe with an oem pipe from Peugeot. Just make your own up, and wrap it if its thin.
