Coming to the very end of my tether now! My car is over heating after only 10-15 mins driving in stop start traffic ie rush hour. Over the past few weeks the overheating us slowly but surely starting sooner. As soon as it hits just over 90 the stop sign kicks in and the fan starts. It then does this every 5ish mins throughout the rest of my journey.
Thing is when I'm driving a straight run down the motorway at 70 the temp stays right at the bottom, barely rises from 0!
Not sure if it's connected but I had a new radiator and fan put in a couple months back and this is when it started.
Also, my heater barely blows out any air, like the fans lost power, and it's always freezing cold, doesn't blow out hot air any more.
Could all this be connected? It's driving me insane!!!!

Are you sure that the fan is working? Have you actually checked it when its got hot enough?

Also if the fan wasn't actually working, surely the engine would also overheat when I'm driving fast for long periods on the motorway? It's only doing it when I'm in slow moving traffic or driving at 30

Air lock in the cooling system.

Leave car idling until you hear what you think is the fan kick in, lift bonnet and have a look.

The airflow through the radiator is enough to cool down the engine when you're moving. The fan is more likely to kick in at lower speeds or when stationary because of the lack of air movement through the radiator.
Why did you have the fan and rad replaced?

The temp shoots up within 10 mins of slow driving - the fan shouldn't need to kick in so soon anyway should it?

So you've done the obvious checks like check there is coolant in the car?
Don't trust the guage either. No coolant would result in a low temperature because the sensor is in air!
Could be a blocked or damaged radiator or the water pump not working.

Yep! First thing I checked! Would a damaged radiator stop warm air fromn blowing through the air vents too? I think it is something with the radiator as it's funny it only started when it was replaced

And by guage do you mean the temp guage in the car?

I would also check the cooling system is purged of any air, also that's there's nothing blocking the radiator.
Here's a guide on bleeding the cooling system:
