As title says I have a problem with the imobaliser and central locking... the car is a GT. Its had been sat for a few months with out being started but started first time with out a hitch. Then it started to play up, was fine again all week and now I can't start it. The passenger side and boot locks work then bounce back up, whilst the drivers side stays in place. So I'm guessing that's the actuator? I drove it like this fine, just couldn't lock it. So yeah, now the imobaliser isn't coming off, does anyone know how ro remedy it? I'm guessing it will need to be plugged in. I also noticed that when its not going to start all the centre console lights come on as normal apart from the heater control unit, I dont know if thats just coincidence or something to do with it? I'm crap with electrics so any help would be appreciated :-D. Sorry for being long winded just wanted to cover everything!

Thanks, Connor

Hey bud. Yeah thats right. I drove it all last week with no problems after it had been sat. Went to start it this morning and nothing.. is the immobiliser easy enough to remove then?

What is the car doing or rather not doing? Is it turning over on the starter?

It wasn't doing anything macca. I called the AA out to get it recovered but he just replaced the fuses in the engine bay as they were badly corroded and it fired up! Very relieved and feeling rather sheepish for not checking it myself! As for the central locking I will replace the actuator and see if that remedies it!

so it is because of fuses, you are lucky then, mine fuses are ok, but exactly same problem like yours, 1 week ok another week problem, check through pp2000 key somehow lost its setting, suspect wiring issue on mine. if you want remove immo can pm me, but if dont have problem with immo there is no purpose doing it
