I've had a few beeps before, some long, some repeating etc...
But the other day, after an MOT/Service I had a "boooonnnggg", really low tone, a bit like a "put your seatbelt on" sound on an aeroplane.
Not a problem as such, but just wondering if it means anything?
Thinking it may be battery related, had the starter motor replaced and it happened when starting for the 1st time after getting it home.

My car randomly bongs at me sometimes and I just ignore it. Never had a problem with it!

yeh, my old gti180 did it once, had it for about a year and a half after the "bong", no problems.
