206 sport 1.4 petrol 05 reg. The main beam and mileage display stay on after switching off ignition and removing the key. The only way to stop this is to disconnect the battery or remove the shunt fuse. If the fuse has been removed when it is then replaced all is fine until either a door is opened or the ignition is turned on. The car runs fine in relation to driving. Any clues out there for a fix?

there's a feature on the multiplex in that when you park up and switch the the ignition off, if you then flash your main beam stalk, get out of your car then lock it, your mileage display, headlights, main beam, cannot remember which stay lit for 1 min or so then go off, this allows you some light if you are in a dark place.
