Hi, im thinking of fitting bosch super fours to my 1.4 8v. Im going to do a service as I have a very slight misfire. I was going to fit super4s just because they seem a bit better quality but not sure...

I was fitting Super 4's 17+ years ago, there old technology.

The Bosch Super Plus are fine for a TU3 lump.

The ONLY thing the Super 4 offer's is a longer service life due to the 4 electrodes.

Echo BSI here, all they do is jump from one electrode ground to another. No performance gain to speak of. If you can stretch, go with platinum or iridium. I have found Denso to run well. But don't go copper - they will burn out within 10k..
