Hi Guys,
looking for some advice.
my 2005 206 1.1 sport has started acting up, eml came on a few months ago but no obvious problems at the time, got it tested with no results/codes?
now two days ago it started misfiring, engine shuddering quite badly, quiet squeaking noise from engine area, idling rough and eml flashing, i have booked it in for a diagnostic but has anybody had similiar problems so i know roughly what to expect?
injector, coilpack, plugs, fuel filter?
Cheers.

all of the above to be fair mate. i randomly get p0300 (random misfire)
might see it twice in a week or might not see it for 3 months. coil pack, plugs, both lambda sensors, all fluids, timing and parts all been changed. diagnostics for this one could cost u a fortune as they will more than likely play hit or miss a few times.

had my mate out yesterday to diagnose it, he has one of the computers worth around £1000 as he worked in breakdown recovery, plugged it in but it said could not make a connection with vehicle? scratching my head on that one, could be a loose wire to the diagnostic port?
he took the plugs out and they seemed not bad only been in about 2 years but cleaned them up anyway, going to get a new coil pack as the plastic is cracked where the bolt holds it in, he said this might not be giving it a good enough connection to the plugs so thats my first step.
sounds as though its a common problem with these cars
cheers.

i take it this is what you have already done on your own car and did it resolve the problem atall?
cheers.

yup all that and more been done last 15 months and no it hasnt resolved it. if anything in near future im thinking new tested engine....less grief and probably cheaper lol. some people had this issue resolved by a simple spark plug change some like myself its never resolved. [art of the 206 charms,a bazillion things can cause it
