Hi everyone!
I am new to this forum, but I sincerely hope you'll be willing to try and help me out.
My problem is that my Peugeot 206xs from 2001 has, for a long time now, completely random started to suddenly go into something I think is "limp mode". (I cant get above 2k rpm and around 20-30km/h) This happens on the highway alot of times (as I have to drive there to and from work) and its SUPER scary when it suddenly won't keep up with traffic @ 130km/h. Normally, it will actually just cut out on the highway actually, then I have to restart and its in "limp mode"..Sometimes, after 20-30 restarts it will be completely fine again, and work with 0 problems for 2months..! I really don't understand the problem, and when I take it to the garage, they don't find anything wrong with it, no error codes(apparently..unbelievable though..), nothing!
They once changed the "electric brain" they called it..It was a part from Bosch, quite expensive...This might have fixed it (I dont know, cause its so random!) for another 3-4months, but now the problem is back...now it's so bad I cant even get it out of limp mode when restarting 20-30,,50 times...And I'm now afraid that I will just ruin the engine completely if I keep trying.
I have tried resetting with the waiting 3minutes, taking battery out etc. etc. Have followed every guide, but nothing works.
I have attached a link to a video I just quickly edited with footage from my phone from the last 3days, just hoping it will be to any information.
Please, help me out, I cant afford more useless garage "repairs" where they do nothing..I feel so lost

Hi Erik, welcome to the site
The first place to start would be a code read. This will narrow down the cause of the problem. In the UK most garages will run them for free, and they are available for £10 upwards. Spain might be slightly different.
Once you have the fault codes/DTCs 9 times out of 10 it is a simple job of finding the fault. If you have access to PP2000, that makes the job easier still

Thank you for fast answer!
Ok, I will go back to the official peugeot garage and have them run for codes again, then. Just so annoying that they say that they cant find anything..OBVIOUSLY there's some thing extremely wrong
Will post back with more info!
