Hi guys, does anyone know whether the 1.4 hdi has a primer pump? Have found what looks to be one (with a hole in it) but not entirely sure :/
Located left of the air box (seems to be inline the fuel line)
If this is a primer, can I replace the part separately rather than buying the whole fuel harness? (1574T1)
As you can probably tell I'm new to diesels, but really want to learn more about them
Many thanks,
Vinnie

Common fault on the 1.4 hdi. I'm sure the pip can be replaced with anything suitable. just do a search.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Had a little search but nothing really came up . Can only find universal type replacement primer bulbs on eBay and Amazon that claim to fit Peugeot HDIs. Is it worth trying these? Not sure on which connectors I need to fit onto my current lines
Cheers
