Need's scanning to see what fault codes are now stored.

I take it there are no air leaks on the manifold, the lambda sensor isn't damaged & is plugged in?

And you have decat? If not y is the cat out? anti pollution can be caused be lambda, bad fuel, cat, throttle body gasket can some times attribute to the fault code.

The second lambda sensor is there to detect the amount of oxygen present. And since its seeing naff all it will throw up the code P0420 catalytic convetor efficiency (ie your cats f****d is what is trying to say)

You need a lambda sensor extender (found on ebay, i recommend the 90 degree ones) so it is removed from the main stream of exhaust gases and tells the ECU the cat is working fine
