Thanks for the eBay link - I'll take a look
I'm hopefully going to have this car through Uni - 3 or 4 years so I'm definitely going to do some work on it.
I've bought some scratch remover paste to try out, but thats about it for now.
Someone has advised me to buy car seat covers -what do you think?
Thanks

Took a couple of pictures of the inside.
Part of the display is faded - I know the date is wrong but the "14" is very faded compared to the rest. Is there any way to sort this out ?
I might try and find a new case for this. There's a few scratches, and I'm sure I've seen them for sale for less than £20
Also need to test the cigarette lighter and if it doesnt work try to fit a new one, it'll come in handy when I need to charge my phone.
I was thinking of replacing my radio (eventually) with this www.halfords.com/sat-n...car-stereo or something similar - with CD/radio and USB - is it worth it?

The display is easy to fix, you need to replace the blown back light bulbs
I warn you now, the cigarette lighting socket in the 206 is a right pain to replace, even just changing the bulb is a mission

Oh I like the look of that - was it a lot of work? Charging my phone isn't a necessity but it would be nice to able to do so.
I'm off to search for a thread about how to change the back light

I've read a few threads on fixing the display and it seems quite easy. Is it just a case of gently pulling the top off and then changing the bulbs?

Sorry to hijack your thread, but how easy is that to do? Electrics is not my strong point

I haven't changed anything on my car since I last posted and despite trying to learn I still know nothing about cars!
I'm thinking of altering the car slightly by painting the bonnet vents either red or blue, and the calipers too (hoping to get alloys soonish). Also by painting the dashboard console etc, but I don't know if either would clash with the orange interior? I don't really have the money or the knowledge to replace my seats, and the interior door panels and glove box have an orange interior too. So what would you do?
Thanks

I managed to pick up second hand 180 interior for £30 and sold my old one fr £28. I re-trimmed the door cards in black pleather and sprayed the a b and c pillars in black I might be able to source you a few parts down here as my old place was a Peugeot breakers and stock changes all the time check out my "project merlot" thread to see what other mods you could do

Where did you get your interior from, and is it easy to change? What kind of parts do you think you'd be able to source? I'll take a look at your thread - Thanks!!
