Suddenly this started happening..

First gear is an absolute nightmare, I sit idling, stamping the clutch, It just will not go in.

Second gear seems slightly slightly easier, so I have to start in second, third is the easiest of all.

If I cant fix this I may aswell break up this pretty 206 - as the modified parts and styling pieces are probably worth more than the 2002 138 gti it's self.

Check the gear change 'linkages' aren't worn on the gearbox.

Try this? Put it in gear with the engine off and the clutch held in. Then start the engine and release the clutch. If that doesnt work then you've bent a rod in the gearbox

Might be the first motion shaft has failed or as simple as a clutch
