Bought 206 1.4 hdi lx 2002 ,next morning noticed aux belt didn't go to A/C pulley (was a bit dark when I saw the car) so guessing compressor knacked ,is it worth changing belt for A/C one and trying compressor ,the pulley spins freely so if knacked won't shred belt ,any advice greatly appreciated folks.
You might aswell just to see, the previous owner may have bought the wrong one or like you say the compressor has failed. If it has a second hand one wouldn't be too much
