I mean the whole display is bright and the text is very faint so lack of contrast hende hard to read. Does this mean i have to replace the whole mfd?

Good evening,
Can you see/read the MFD at night?
I ask because when the bulbs in the back fail it means everything is hard to read in the day and impossible at night.
Regards, Richard.
