Hi folks,
I have a 2005 206 that needs a working comm 2000 due to a airbag light fault.
The part code on my current faulty comm is 96574679XT
I have searched hi and low for a replacement other than a Brand new one but have not been successful. So I was wondering if there is another part number that will work on my 206? It is a 1.4 sport. I ask this as I've seen others on eBay that look identical.
Thanks for any help that comes my way.

Needs to be of a 206 - some ( not all ) of the Partner / Berlingo com 2000 units are also the same.

96574679XT isn't a PSA Peugeot / Citroen part number, correct PSA part number will be 6 alphanumeric digits.

If your 206 has ESP fitted you would also need access to Peugeot Planet.

The PSA part number can be found via Peugeot Service Box or asking a Peugeot main dealer parts department.

If you want, you can PM the 17 digit VIN of the car & ill find the part number for you.

The code on vehicle unit reads 96574679XT
However peugeot say the replacement code is 96787362XT
So this is confusing me as I want to by second hand but don't know which code to get lol

The Peugeot part number is 6239 PR.

The code 96787362XT is the replacement code for the updated com unit.

Just match up the features your original unit has & make sure it comes of a 206 if your going 2nd hand.

Id be tempted to get a price on a new Valeo unit from Euro Car part's, they don't normally keep com units in stock but can get them within a couple of days.

Thanks for the help chap.
I ordered secondhand part today for £90 that has different XT number but they assured me it would work in my car, and if not they will refund.
Will I need to hook it up to fault reader again to clear airbag light or will it just stop off if all is ok?
Really appreciate the help as I started chemo recently and mot is up end month so need caar to get to hospital.
Thanks much
