Hi can anyone tell me if my rear axle is going or maybe some advice what to look at as when no one is in the back the car is fine but as soon as one person sits in the back it makes a loud bang on speed humps potholes etc and sits really low the car is factory height the only mod is exhaust any advice would be great

It should just as easily be shock absorbers, to be honest.
You'd have to have a look or take a photo or two.
The end plates can also shear on the end of the ARB. You'd notice this by looking.
General symptoms of a worn axle are excessive camber (cause by loose axle bearings) or 'creaking', whereas most other noises can normally be shocks or end plates, to be honest.

Just had a quick look and both arb end plates are in tact and tight is there a way of checking the shocks i had the car at a tyre shop and he checked all bushes and only recommended front arb link arms

The easiest way really is to just push down on the back of the car and try and replicate the sound.
Have you checked the spare wheel also, as the jack is normally in there and could be bouncing around

My exhaust use to bang, think it was the wrong hangers, I knew it wasn't the axle as I put a recon axle on as the bearings had failed.
