Hi,

I have recently brought a 206 (bit less than a month ago) after around a week of owning it i started to notice oil spots where i park my car at home.

Looking under the motor the parts around and below the fan belt (Drivers Side) are pretty baked in oil, but having looked under the bonnet i cannot determine where it's actually coming from.

Dipstick is actually suggesting there is a tad to much oil in the engine (The bloke i brought it off changed the oil and the filter) the sensor for the oil on the dash is faulty because it's giving me a different reading everytime i get in the car Very Happy French cars for ya!!

Any common causes for this with my 1.4 petrol engine? Hoping it's not the Head Gasket, every car i get it seems to fail!
