The clocks left me perfect and they were well packaged, i have a pic with the engine running and the speedo is sat where it should.
pic of the clocks before i disconnected them

this is the message below from the seller

'Hi.
Got a slight problem, fitted the clocks but when I started engine the speedo went round to 60 mph. Put my old clocks in the speedo works correctly just that the fuel gauge and temp don't. Please advise me on what you want to do. I've attached a photo so you can see.

In the interest of a comical ending you should go along with it, and get him to send you the item back, then send him the same picture of it working using the old original picture and report back Laughing

Report it to eBay as he is trying to con you out of money, gather all the conversations between you both as eBay will want some form of proof, I wouldn't mention it to him he's been found out just yet as no doubt he'll just disappear.

Or have some fun with it and ask for endless pictures as proof it's not working, different angles etc etc then tell him you knew all along and to do one, your choice.

I wonder if the buyer is a member on here and is now sat with his head in his hands feeling a complete turd.

If you are on here, fess up. The p**s taking will only last a couple of days. We could even give you special recognition as the Master Of Fail.

That would be 206info gold if he/she were a member!

Ive just got of the phone from ebay and its all logged now, I've sent the buyer a message explaining he's not going to be getting a full refund and that there not my clocks and he's welcome to report it to the resolution centre and that I've been on the phone to ebay regards this.

Who thinks we'll never hear back from him?

You should have replied with:

"Hi,

Ah! I see you problem! You seem to have installed the wrong speedometer. Try to install mine, I think that might fix it!"

Kind Regards"
